Chaser's One Year Pics

We went and got Chase's one year pictures taken and it was horrible. The kid did not do a good job at all! The only thing he did to try to get Chase's attention was say his name. So me and Curtis were acting like the biggest idiots to get Chase to look at the camera and smile. After 10 pictures I could not stand it anymore. This kid (the one taking the pictures) was driving me nuts and doing a horrible job that I decided to stop and deal with what we took. So out of the ten pictures here are some of the decent ones.

Alone time, YES!!! But i am bored

Every night this week Chase has been going to sleep around 10:3o. I do not really know what our deal is but that's what has been happening. Well tonight I was thinking about everything that I have to do and how nice it would be if he went to sleep on time. And amazingly he did. He was out by nine as was Curtis. I was so excited to have time to myself and get stuff done. And here it is one hour later and I have done nothing and nor do I feel like it. I have been sitting here on the computer looking at basically nothing and thinking how i need to get up and pick up the house. However I do not feel like it and am very bored. I usually crave my alone time, but for some reason right now i am not enjoying it too much. I was debating whether or not i just go to bed but then i just sit there even more bored in the dark. Now I am here rambling on. Wow I am weird! Does this ever happen to any one else?! By the way, Selena I know I am huge and look like I am going to pop but i still have another month (my due date is April 25th). Next week i go in to schedule my induce date! I can not wait! Can you tell I am bored?

Brandon is home!

My brother Brandon came home from his mission this past week. He has been serving in the Salta Argentina mission for the past two years. While he was gone two new nephews were born, Chase and Brendon (Aaron's baby), and Kaden had two birthday's so he is like a big boy now. So we are all excited he is home. He is the same old Brandon, he has taught Chaser how to spit which I am not so happy about, he is still goofy. His home coming is March 15th at eleven o'clock if any one is interested!

For some reason none of us but Chase is looking at the camera. The family behind us went all out for there missionary.

Shoe Question!?

I can not get Chase to wear shoes! He screams and cries until i take them off! And now that he is walking everywhere he has to wear shoes. I would just put socks on him but he keeps putting holes in them. So then i bought those training shoes that are really flimsy to see if that would work and he still did not like that. So do i just let him wear socks and this shoes hating phase will pass or do I put shoes on him and let him scream and just make him deal with it? Any one know?!

Chase Turns ONE!!!

My baby turned one! He is getting so big so fast! But he is tons of fun! He has been walking but I feel like the past week he has been doing so much better with it and is able to stay up on his feet better! So for his first party we went to Peter Piper Pizza and watched daddy and uncle Greg play games. Chase could really care less about everything...but he enjoyed watching all the crazy kids there run around. Then next we had a Sunday dinner with my family and Chase got a wagon and Grandma Love gave us money to start a little savings account for him. Then the next Sunday we went to Granny and Pops house (Curtis's mom and dad) and had a little party there. My mother in law made the cutest cake ever!! Chase is so weird though...is this normal?!...So my child does not like to get dirty! He does not like to get his hands dirty, he won't feed himself if it is like spaghetti or sticky. He also hates bubble baths! He freaks out! What kid hates bubble baths?! Anyways so my mother in law makes this cool little cake for chase and he will not dig in to it. He waits for me to give him a freaking spoon! He tries to touch it but once he gets his fingers in it he is done and wants me to wash them off. Is that normal?! So he had lots of fun with all these little parties!
