Our fun summer!

Well here are some pictures from our fun filled summer. To start the wonderful summer off....

Chase busted his lip up pretty bad and hit his head pretty hard. My poor "big boy" (he wont let me call him a baby he gets upset and says he is a big boy).

My parents decided to take us all on a family vacation to Utah. We rented a condo in Park City and stayed for the week and did lots of fun things.

Here we are at the alpine slides and I am chasing Ethan around all the shops...we actually did the alpine slides earlier then went back to eat some Mexican food.

Chase showing us where the Ninja Turtles live.

Chase being a "Big boy"

Climbing...

Laughing...

Just being cute...

Now here we are at Lagoon. I have tons and tons of pictures here but I love Chase's Picture smile here...

He finally just passed out at the end of the day...

Everyone exhausted after a long day.

On Sunday we decided to spend the day at Temple Square...

Here we are playing dress up. We were trying to be a Shepard but he just wanted to be a ninja turtle...

Here we are at the Family reunion. Again Chase just falling asleep wherever he gets tired.

The boys having fun...

Down at the little lake watching everyone fish...Chase looks like a nerd here.

Here we are with cousins playing outside in the HOT weather after playing in the water

And my favorite part of Arizona the monsoon weather.

I let the boys play in the rain before it go to crazy...

Lets see...I have decided to go back to school and finish my teaching degree...hopefully get done when the boys start school and teach while they are in school. Chase is getting to be my big boy. He is getting so smart and funny. Ethan is getting to be a crazy kid. He is going to be my wild boy. Him and Chase are funny together. I will admit at first I thought they were going to hate each other. Once E started walking and moving he wanted everything Chaser had so we were always fighting but now they are learning to play with one another and are having more fun with each other. Ethan will repeat anything you say to him. He is such a good little talker. Curtis is working for my dad and enjoying it. He has started on all these projects around the house so I feel like I am living in a construction zone always but its exciting that things are finally getting done and our house looking pretty after two years of living here. That's about all. Next is Disney Land with Curtis family and we are all so excited! I haven't been there since I was a baby and cant wait...and Chase everyday wakes up and asks if it is time to go. He is so pumped. He is always asking to watch Disney land videos on you tube or on disneyland.com. So that is our next adventure!

What's new in the Waters family?

JUST HAVING A LOT OF FUN!

Here we are at the park snapping some quick photos for my mother in law's mothers day gift

Chase learning how to ride our bike. Safety First!

Me and Curtis at my in laws stake prom. We just stopped by to see all the decorations that's why we are not dressed up.

Here we are playing at the water park

I thought I would see how Chase would do with potty training so we got big boy under ware...it didn't last long. I don't think he likes the way they feel on his bum

My boys swimming at Granny and Pops house! Chase looks like a chunker in this picture

Swimming with Pops!

Chase and Ethan having fun!

My little guys showing off there battle wounds. Cant really see them but Chase has a big bump on his head and Ethan's lip got cut and his eye lid is all black. They were not fighting eachother...just over the day we seem to have had a lot of bumps and bruises

Watching Shrek 4 in 3D. Not a very good movie...kind of boring.

Chase getting his first haircut. He was so excited to go but as soon as he sat down he went into shock mode. He did not move a muscle the whole time. Wouldn't even look over at me. It was very funny!

Notice the drool (on the cape and coming off his lip). With being in a total shock state he didn't even swallow. GROSS! And even with it all over and done with he still will not give me a smile so I can take a good picture.

Having Daddy time and building a fort in my living room. Guess who had to clean it all up...?

This is the best way to watch children...stick them in a dog cage and lock it.

Flying the Kite

For family night we decided to go to wal mart and get a kite. So we spent a whole dollar on this Buzz kite...and how about 10 min of fun till it got stuck. But the kids (and curtis) loved it while it lasted.

Chase and Daddy getting it ready.

Chase trying to throw it in the air to get it started.

and the kite stuck....and it is still up there. a week and a half later.
Also...I finally cleaned my house! Just turned up some music and got to work. Chase helped clean all the toys and Ethan helped clean the Legos...next thing I know we had everything cleaned. And a clean house makes for a happy mommy.

Thanks everyone for your ideas. I thought about having a party but that made me even be more lazy...just thinking about throwing a little get together seemed to make me even more lazy. Thank you!

dirty dirty...just pure lazyness

Man I have been so lazy lately. I tend to try really hard to keep my house picked up...maybe not always vacuumed of moped but picked up. But as you can tell I have failed. Now this lazy spell has just not been going on for a day or a week...try 3 weeks. I feel so gross. I have no desire to do anything!! Curtis had to go out of town last week for work so I thought I would surprise him and have the house all cleaned and perfect when he got home...I got about half way done and just stopped. Instead I painted my bedroom...and again got about half way done and stopped. I am just so lazy lately. I just do not feel like exercising or even feeding my own kids...I do but I just don't feel like it so settle down. So does anyone have any way to help me out of this little phase and get me going again?! Because as much as I hate it I still don't feel like doing anything...

TOYS EVERYWHERE!!! and laundry on the couch that needs to be put away...

Oh the play room. you would think that all the toys would stay in here but as you can tell from all the other pics I have just as many toys out of this room than in it.

more laundry...toys everywhere and that other couch still not put in my bedroom...

I need someone to just come over and kick my bum. Curtis says I will not be able to handle the house looking like this for much longer and I will get out of this little thing I am in and clean again...but I do not know when that will happen....This is kind of an embarrassing post because I hate when people see my house a mess but here I am showing it to everyone...huh...

Friends, Ethan turns ONE!!!, and the ZOO

This first picture is from when Jessica was in town and we all went to Chino Bandito's. It was a crazy time with all of our kids but it was a lot of fun. Then we went back to my house and hung out...but I do not have any pics of that. But it was so great to see Jessica and her beautiful girls. It is so fun to hang out with high school friends again and look at pictures and remember how much fun we had!! oh the days...

Ethan turned ONE!!! He is getting so big and I love it! sad...but I love it. Lets see he weighs 20 pounds (so 20th percentile) and has a big head (80th percentile) and is average in his height. Lets see...he still is not walking (he will around furniture and stand up on his own but still is not walking on his own), and he loves Chase. They are best buddies and it is a lot of fun. Just like Chase besides"dada" his first word was "ball". He loves balls. Well here are some pics from dinner at granny and pops house.

The birthday boy and Erin

The "Dirtday" Cake that pops made

Looking at his candle...Curtis helped blow it out.
Me and my Two boys!

Ethan's favorite gift...his ball. He held on to it on the way home.

Now here we are at the zoo. It was a great day outside and was nice to spend time as a family. Chase looooved it especially the lions. Thanks to Josh and Poiette for the invite!!

Chase watching the elephants.

Chase "milking" the cow. Water really comes out of those.

Our little family

The boys looking at the turkeys. I was so scared it was going to eat Ethan's fingers...I worry about the stupidest stuff.

And Curtis acting like he was going to throw Chase in the Otter cage. He flipped out..."Mean daddy"
