They Love Their Dad!!!

These boys love their father. Curtis is such a great dad. When they wake up in the morning the first thing they ask is "Where is daddy" or sometimes they will call him Curtis. But he is the best play mate ever! They adore him! If you ask Chase who is favorite is he will always say dad but soon after says "I love you too though mom"...he does not like to hurt my feelings.

One day we decided to bomb bared Curtis with water balloons when he got home from work. We called him outside and the boys attacked...they thought it was so funny and of course dad makes it even more exciting.

This is the boys reading books with their dad. One day I am going to have to video tape it. Curtis does all these random voices (the kids favorite voice is when he try's to act like Goofy...he thinks he does a good impression because the boys love it but he really doesn't) and likes to randomly freak out about something on a page. They laugh the whole time. I am just not as cool when it comes to reading books.

I HATE COMPUTERS!!!

Our laptop decided to go out on us. I took it to the computer place yesterday and they have decided that my hard drive is going out. It was going to cost a lot of money so we told them just to try to get all the info off of our hard drive. The phone call I got today was they cant get any memory off the hard drive it is dead. That means all my pics from chase being a new born are all gone...all me and Curtis's first years of marriage gone...I WANT TO CRY...oh wait I already have. I so hope they are wrong about it being dead and I am going to take it somewhere else to see if some one else can help me. Curtis has been telling me forever I that I need to backup all those pictures and videos but I never did, now I am so regretting it. I can not believe this. Does any one know a computer person that might be able to help me that is not going to cost me a fortune...? i am sad.

Really Don't Have a Title Here...

This is Ethan...how do I explain Ethan. Well he is a funny little boy. Ethan can be the cutest little kid and he can be the biggest bully. He will just come up to you and punch you then right before he gets in trouble gives you a big hug and kiss and says "love you". We love this kid...lately since Chase has been wearing underwear Ethan feels the need to wear some as well. Everyday this is what he looks like when we are home. He rips his clothes off and comes to me with a pair of undies "on mom on". If I try to put a shirt on him he flips out, if I take the undies off he flips out, right after bath time they go back on. He is so dang cute...sometimes. We love you E.

Chase fell asleep eating his candy he got for going potty on the toilet. He has been doing awesome. We started potty training last Tuesday, had a couple accidents Tuesday and Wednesday, then no accidents all week until this Monday hit and it was like he had no idea what to do when he had to go pee. He did not go in the toilet once that day. But the next day was great and everyday since then he has done very well! The only thing about this potty thing is it really stinks when we go out, always having to find a toilet if he goes. Well today we were at the store and he starts doing the potty dance and says he has to go...so I take him and Ethan to the bathroom as fast as I can...lock us all in the stall and I pull Chasers pants down just a tad to late and he starts peeing all over the ground all over my legs and and feet by the time I tried to get him on the toilet it was all over me. While I am doing this and trying to clean everything up Ethan is getting into every toilet, flushing them and banging the seats up and down (toilets are his new favorite thing, he loves to put stuff in them and flush it...like toys...). It was gross we all came home and took showers.

birthday, potty training, oh man oh man

So Chase turned three! It is so weird to think I have a three year old. I know it is not that old, but it is just weird to think I am a mom. So on this great day we woke Chase up and took him to IHop, then over to Wal Mart and then home to play with his new cool toy he chose. We were going to take him to a movie but Chase is such a home body that he would rather stay home and play. Then that night we went to red robin and had dinner. After dinner we had some family over and had cake and ice cream! It was a great day!

So I have had two little boys in diapers for the past two years (well Ethan will be two in April so close enough) and $80 a month for diapers is not so much fun anymore (not that it ever was but...I am tired of diapers). So this week we started potty training. This was the poster I made for him. Every time he went potty on the toilet he got a piece of candy and when he went so many times he was able to go to wal mart and get a small toy. Every time he messed up he got candy put back on the poster. So far we have received one toy from walmart (we are talking little $2 toys). Today we did really good with no accidents. But potty training is stressful!

So right now I am doing the HCG diet and this right here is what is killing me. I love these things and it is such a temptation but I have been strong and have limited myself to two a day. I am trying to get the boys to eat them so I dont just go crazy and eat the whole box. I have zero self control!

So this jacket chase is wearing was Curtis's when he was 4. My mother in law dropped it off the other day and I love it! She even has a picture with Curtis in it so I had to do the same with Chase. She got it from Good Will way back then, so I got the shirt underneath at DI. Got to go with the whole second hand store theme here. Plus I love DI now....Alicia lets plan another trip here soon!

Well, I was thinking about being done with blogger for a while. With school, kids, and the little jobs I have it is hard to get around to doing this. But Selena told me I needed to do some updating so I decided to give it one more go around....this probably wont be my last blog but definitely wont happen on a bi weekly or monthly basis...So...I am going to school trying to get my Bachelors in Psychology to become a child life specialist. I am pretty excited about it, I hate school and the time it takes up but cant wait to be finished and get into a career. The boys are just being boys. Chase right now is into the whole super hero theme. Everything is Batman or Iron Man. Chaser will be three in just a 2 more weeks (Feb 19)...it is crazy how fast time has gone by. And Ethan is just in love with his big brother. He does and says anything Chase does. This little boy can say anything you want him to say. He is such a good little talker for his age. Sometimes it is weird that I am having a conversation with a one year old, like with actual sentences and stuff. He is one smart little boy. Nothing knew has been happening really...here are some pictures.

We bought the boys a tramp for Christmas (well we got it in November and let them have it early so they can enjoy it...actually we were to excited to wait for Christmas)

So Curtis family has this tradition that on New Years Day Santa is going back home to the North Pole and on his way back he will stop by the house and leave whatever left over presents he had in his sleigh, only if you leave your shoes by the front door...so we started this tradition at our house and this is chase running out of his room to see what he got that morning. PURE JOY!!

So I took Chase into the doctor because he was doing all these weird things....They thought he was having seizures...so we had to do an EEG and this is Chase all hooked up and just waking up. He was so good this day. I thought he would be terrified but he let them hook him all up and took a nap for them and let them run some tests and never complained once. Well after 3 different doctor visits and $600 later he ends up only having a tick disorder... and it is hereditary so he takes after his uncle nick and uncle greg...thanks guys. (and you owe me $300 each)

DIsney Land, Beach, Dinosaurs

We went on a family trip with all Curtis's family to California this past weekend, and had a lot of fun! We spent one day at Disney Land, one day at Venice Beach, and on the way home made a stop at the random Dinosaur place. We had a lot of fun and loved being with our cousins. I think it was a little too much for the boys to take in but they were good troopers the whole time. We cant wait to go back and take the kids again (but not until they are old enough to remember...right now they are free so we don't care but I refuse to pay $65 for a 3 year old...at Disney land).

Venice Beach...The boys loved the Water. They just ran right into it. We weren't expecting to get all wet just because the water was so dang cold but the kids seemed to care less. They were so mad when we had to leave.
