Encanto Park

First I wanted to show this...Curtis got Chase a 100 piece set of army guys. It came with tanks, army guys, bridges, jets...everything you can think of...well out of all 75 guys in there this one came already blown up. He is the only one in the whole set that looks like this. It is kinda funny, I dont think it was suppose to look like this but it makes the army guys that much cooler. Every time Chase drops a bomb or something he throws this guy down and says "oh we got em'". Just thought it was funny...

So this past weekend we went to Encanto Park with our friends the Reed's. They have two way cute kids and our kids just get along so dang well. It is so funny to watch them. Chase loves Emma he calls her his girl friend (right now I am okay with that but I think I might be one of those psycho moms that have to know everything about my boys lives and the girls in their life will hate me). But Chase and Emma held hands and went on every ride together it was like they were on a little date. It was so cute! I took a million picture of the two so I had to choose just some to put up.

So as I go through my pictures all the time I realize there are very few ones with me and the boys it is all curtis and the boys or just the boys. And I was trying so hard for them to sit with me for just a second so curtis could take a picture of us but I was having no luck. So I made them sit in the photo booth with me and I got pictures that way...not what I wanted but it is the best I could do.

Another thing I realized is we don't really have any updated family pictures so I made everyone sit down to get one...

Daddy and Ethan...dont they look alike? I figured it out...Chase looks just like my side of the fam but has Curtis's red hair, and Ethan looks like Curtis's side of the fam but has my hair color.

Easter and Becky.

Easter was a lot of fun. With the boys getting older holidays are becoming more exciting!

Here is Chaser and Daddy finding easter eggs. That basket Chase has was Curtis's when he was little. So Chase loved to use daddies basket.

Dying Easter Eggs

Curtis decided to start a new tradition. After we were done doing the eggs he decided to make us all put our hands in a color and dye our hands...Ethan (you can tell by his face) did not like this idea...but he had orange so it was hard to tell on him...and yes we all went to church with colored hands.

Well it was Becky's 27th birthday so we went out to eat...technically it is Friday the 29 but I could not go out that night so we changed it to today. We went to Macayo's and listened to some guy serenade us all night. It was lovely. And I decided to make these photos in black and white for two reasons. one being Becky said she feels she is photographed so much in that shirt...but now you dont know what shirt it is because it is not colored...two well that is for me to know and you not to know

Look at all those glasses we drank...how come our waitress never took them away when she brought us new ones? And thank you allison for letting the whole patio know we were Mormon and that is why we dont drink.

This is the picture that we self timed...and this picture is the other reason why I decided to make it black and white again I don't want to tell why...But isnt allison getting so dang skinny She is LOOKING GOOD...I think it is because of walking group and Selena we hope you join when you move here! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECKY!!!

Ethan's Birthday and Stuff

Ethan Turned TWO!!! My April fools baby. He is so old! This little boy is so dang funny. He has such a strong little personality. He is definitely my little bully, he is the happiest little boy always laughing, and he talks amazing for his age. This kids vocab is out of control. And I am not saying that because he is my kid just ask anyone who knows him. We had two family parties for this kid (one Sunday dinner party with my folks and one with Curtis's) then we did a little thing with just the four of us. I love this first picture because Curtis looks really weird trying to show Ethan how to blow those candles out. For our little family thing we took Ethan to Savers and let him pick any toy. It was cheap and the boys had fun going through all those toys just sitting out. Then we came home and had birthday cake.

Now here is my little guy two weeks after his birthday with strep throat. He has been miserable the past few days throwing up constantly and just being so tired so I took him to the doc today to find out we have strep. He really has not eaten anything for the past 3 days (everything he has eaten or drank he has thrown up) so today after he had some Zofran I gave him a piece of bread and he was shaking so much he kept missing his mouth. I felt so bad for the little guy. Funny side story really has no point just love how cute my little guy is...The other night Curtis, Ethan and I were laying on the couch. He had just finished puking and was totally out of it laying on my lap. It was dead silent in the room and Curtis tooted. Right away Ethan started laughing (the best he could because he was so sick) and said "Daddy tooted mom". This little boy pale with droopy eyes thought he was the funniest little kid calling dad out.

I love this picture of Chase. He looks so funny here. His pants are all getting a little snug so his little belly is hanging down over his pants and he is picking his nose. What gets better than this?

And yes I have started school back up. This past Monday my classes started and I am already hating it. 4 classes and two labs. kill me now.

I think this year our little family has seen the doctor more than the whole six years we have been married. Chase had to go for the whole seizure thing (that was a few appointments) and then a ear infection, Curtis had really bad eczema and had to go in for that, I had shingles (which was miserable...I was going to post a picture of it but it was really gross), and Ethan's strep. This does not count me and the boys yearly checkups we have gone too either. It has been one thing after another. Hopefully this is not a sign on how the rest of the year is going to go.

Saturday we went to Luke Days. It was alot of fun! A long day but a fun day! Since we seem to live in a flying path (not sure if that is what it is called but you know what I mean) for jets to return back to Luke Air Force base we are always running outside to see them zoom past so to actually go and see them up close the boys loved it!

They Love Their Dad!!!

These boys love their father. Curtis is such a great dad. When they wake up in the morning the first thing they ask is "Where is daddy" or sometimes they will call him Curtis. But he is the best play mate ever! They adore him! If you ask Chase who is favorite is he will always say dad but soon after says "I love you too though mom"...he does not like to hurt my feelings.

One day we decided to bomb bared Curtis with water balloons when he got home from work. We called him outside and the boys attacked...they thought it was so funny and of course dad makes it even more exciting.

This is the boys reading books with their dad. One day I am going to have to video tape it. Curtis does all these random voices (the kids favorite voice is when he try's to act like Goofy...he thinks he does a good impression because the boys love it but he really doesn't) and likes to randomly freak out about something on a page. They laugh the whole time. I am just not as cool when it comes to reading books.

I HATE COMPUTERS!!!

Our laptop decided to go out on us. I took it to the computer place yesterday and they have decided that my hard drive is going out. It was going to cost a lot of money so we told them just to try to get all the info off of our hard drive. The phone call I got today was they cant get any memory off the hard drive it is dead. That means all my pics from chase being a new born are all gone...all me and Curtis's first years of marriage gone...I WANT TO CRY...oh wait I already have. I so hope they are wrong about it being dead and I am going to take it somewhere else to see if some one else can help me. Curtis has been telling me forever I that I need to backup all those pictures and videos but I never did, now I am so regretting it. I can not believe this. Does any one know a computer person that might be able to help me that is not going to cost me a fortune...? i am sad.

Really Don't Have a Title Here...

This is Ethan...how do I explain Ethan. Well he is a funny little boy. Ethan can be the cutest little kid and he can be the biggest bully. He will just come up to you and punch you then right before he gets in trouble gives you a big hug and kiss and says "love you". We love this kid...lately since Chase has been wearing underwear Ethan feels the need to wear some as well. Everyday this is what he looks like when we are home. He rips his clothes off and comes to me with a pair of undies "on mom on". If I try to put a shirt on him he flips out, if I take the undies off he flips out, right after bath time they go back on. He is so dang cute...sometimes. We love you E.

I love this picture of Chase I know it is blurry I just think it is funny. Our new favorite thing is to turn on the sprinklers and the boys jump on the tramp. They love it!!!

Chase fell asleep eating his candy he got for going potty on the toilet. He has been doing awesome. We started potty training last Tuesday, had a couple accidents Tuesday and Wednesday, then no accidents all week until this Monday hit and it was like he had no idea what to do when he had to go pee. He did not go in the toilet once that day. But the next day was great and everyday since then he has done very well! The only thing about this potty thing is it really stinks when we go out, always having to find a toilet if he goes. Well today we were at the store and he starts doing the potty dance and says he has to go...so I take him and Ethan to the bathroom as fast as I can...lock us all in the stall and I pull Chasers pants down just a tad to late and he starts peeing all over the ground all over my legs and and feet by the time I tried to get him on the toilet it was all over me. While I am doing this and trying to clean everything up Ethan is getting into every toilet, flushing them and banging the seats up and down (toilets are his new favorite thing, he loves to put stuff in them and flush it...like toys...). It was gross we all came home and took showers.
